CURTIS WILEY HUGGINS:

Curtis Wiley Huggins (1905-1987) was married twice. First wife was Enolla Doris Medows and they had at least three children:

Okey (1928-2008), Vennie Ethel and Iris June (1934 - about 1955). Okey married and had at least four children; unknown if Vennie or Iris married.

Curtis married (1) Rosella Paith and had four more children, including Jerry Lee who died 28 May 1978.

Information on any of the above would be appreciated. Curtis & his wives lived in Marshall County.

OCIE IRENE HUGGINS & GUS FISHER:

Ocie Irene Huggins (1910 - before 1966) married a man from Greece named Gus Fisher on 12 November 1926 in Moundsville. He was born about 1900.

That's all of the information I have and would appreciate additional details on Gus & Ocie's children (if any) as well as Gus's parents/siblings.

Ruth Huggins (b. 1928 - before July 1964) was the daughter of Earl Emerson Huggins & Grace Deloris Miller. When did Ruth die? Who did she marry? Children?

William A. Huggins (15 Dec 1929 - 1 Oct 2002) was the son of Earl Emerson Huggins & Grace Deloris Miller. Did he marry? Children?

JEANNETTE DELORA HUGGINS MALSON:

Jeannette Delora Huggins (29 Mar 1935 Proctor District - 14 Dec 2007) was the daughter of Earl Emerson Huggins & Grace Deloris Miller. She married Leroy Marvin Malson (22 Sept 25 New Martinsville - 1 June 2002). His parents were James M. Malson & Elizabeth "Lizzie" B. Moore. Did Leroy & Jeannette have children?

Delora Virginia Hill (June 1874 Wetzel Co. - bef. 01 Jan 1920) was the daughter of James Hill & Catherine Ritz. On 24 December 1891, Delora married Gawen Eddy Huggins on 24 December 1891 in New Martinsville. What was Delora's date of death?

JOHN F. HUGGINS:

John F. Huggins (22 Jan 1894 Proctor District - 1948 Wetzel Co.) was the son of Gawen Eddy Huggins & Delora Virginia Hill. In 1930, John was a lodger in the household of Sigmund Hanson in Seattle, Washington and working as a carpenter. Did John stay on the West Coast? Did he marry? Children?

MAUD MARTHA HILL HUGGINS:

Maud Martha Hill (b. abt 1904 Wetzel Co.) was the daughter of Victor K. Hill & Rebecca Dulaney. On 02 September 1919, she married Dallas Earl Huggins (1898-1971) in Moundsville. Where were they at the time of the 1930 census? When did she die?

LEWIS ENCIL RICHMOND & MAMIE DELORA HUGGINS:

Lewis Encil Raymond (19 Apr 1909 - 19 Feb 1982) was the son of Encil Elijah Richmond & Viola Gorby. On 20 May 1900, he married Mamie Delora Huggins (20 July 1902 - 02 August 1978 Cleveland). The marriage ended in divorce. Did they have any children?

ARTHUR JOSEPH HILLFERDING & AUSTIA M. HUGGINS:

Arthur Joseph Hillferding (03 Apr 1891 Ohio - 13 Mar 1978 Ohio) was the son of George Hillferding & Magdaline Burkhart. On 28 July 1917, he married Austia Huggins (28 Aug 1894 Proctor District - 20 July 1952 Parkersburg). Did they have any children?

SHERMAN D. HUGGINS & KATHERINE J. COEN:

Sherman Huggins (06 Jan 1912 Wood Co. - 14 Nov 1970 Ohio) was the son of Francis Marion Huggins & Anna Margaret Huffman. He married Katherine Coen (1913 - 2001). Who were her parents? Did they have any children?

ROSA E. HUGGINS BELT

Rosa Huggins (b. 15 Mar 1887 Proctor District) was the daughter of Harrison William Huggins & Mary Elizabeth Butler. On 21 September 1914, Rosa married Stewart "Doc" Belt (12 May 1887 Calhoun Co. - 23 Feb 1944 Wheeling) in Moundsville. They had at least 4 children - Harold, Lawrence, Mildred & Paul. When did Rosa die?

Doc died in 1944. Did Rosa remarry after Doc's death? I can't locate her in the Social Security Death Index under "Rosa Belt". According to her brother Friend's March 1970 obituary, she was not listed as a survivor.

JOSEPH FRANCIS HUGGINS

Joseph Huggins (05 Apr 1895 Marshall Co., - 28 Oct 1973 Steubenville, OH) was the son of John Aaron Huggins & Cynthia Jane Wykert. He lived in Ohio most of his life. On 15 March 1924, he married Ella Rusen in Brooke County. Ella was the daughter of immigrants Charles Rusen & Bertha Belany.

Did Joseph & Ella have children?

JOHN AARON HUGGINS & CYNTHIA JANE WYKERT

On 20 July 1878, John Huggins (Oct 1857 in now WV - 25 Apr 1948 Jefferson Co., OH) married Cynthia Jane Wykert (b. abt 1857).

John's death certificate showed mother's name as Jane Huggins; father's name was unknown. Charles Huggins' book, Huggins Families of Western Pennsylvania and Northern West Virginia, wrote two choices for John's parents - either William Huggins (b. 1817) & Mary Ann White (b. 1820) or his mother was {unmarried} Jane Huggins who was working for the Postlethwait family at the time she gave birth.

John's son, Joseph Francis Huggins, was the source for his death certificate information so it would seem Jane Huggins was his mother and father unknown. If true, what was the name of John's father?

Also, when did Cynthia Wykert die?
