Many other surnames were related to the Huggins/Huggans family.  My direct line alone included Baker, Blake, Eddy, Duncan, Dunham, Garner, Goodrich, Keck, Myers, Nice, Richardson, Shoup, Tennant and (of course!) Yoho

Throw in other related names such as Bonar, Brock, Cain, Chambers, Coffield, Cole, Cozart, Cunningham, Dulaney, Fluharty, Furbee, Goddard, Hall, Harlan, Haught, Henry, Horner, Jolliff/Jolliffe, Lemasters, Lemley, Martin, Miner/Minor, Moore, O'Neil, Parsons, Postal/Postlewait/Postlethwaite/, Richmond, Rine, Rutan, SampsonScyoc/Van Scyoc, Shreve, Singletary, Smith, Truex, Venus, Watson, West, White, Wiley, Williams, Workman and so many others that it seems as though it includes all of the families in West Virginia.

I wish I could put up a 5-Generation page for all of these families but it's just not possible so I chose the HENRY surname first as a thank you to cousin Jeff Smith, who has been a tremendous help with the Huggins/Huggans line.  (We are both direct descendants of John Randolph Huggans).  He spent many hours researching in West Virginia and contributed some of gravestone pictures here on the site.

The SAMPSON and BLAKE lines came from cousin Vince Gonzales who is a direct descendant of both lines.  He's a Marine, serving our country, and asked if I knew anything about his ancestors as his family had moved from West Virginia before he was born.  Thank you very much for your service, Vince and I hope you have some of your answers.
